Our Process

Nannies Incorporated is known for its integrity in recruiting, selecting and placing individuals with a commitment to quality, and dependable service.

Screening:

Providing safe and reliable childcare is Nannies Incorporated's top priority and that is why we provide an extensive placement screening process which includes: telephone interviews, in-depth application along with in-person interviews for ALL placements.  We also perform reference checks and a formal background investigation.

Background checks are essential to ensure that a candidate will be a safe childcare provider. Our search includes:

  • National/State/County Criminal Checks
  • Sex Offender Registry
  • DMV (driving report)
  • Education Verification
  • DCFS Child Abuse Report
  • Reference Checks (Confirmations)

Prior to the nanny's formal employment we will provide the families with documentation on interviews and reference checks that we have preformed in advance of each nanny candidate interview with the family. A complete background investigation document will also be provided to the family.

                                      Placement:

Each family completes our electronic application which will help us learn about your family and childcare requirements. We then conduct a consultation where we are able to learn more than what you were able to communicate in your application. This gives us the opportunity to get a sense of you and your family and what you need.

Next step is to begin a customized search for your family. We review hundreds of candidates and select the most ideal candidates for your family for a in-person interview.  Prior to our interview, the candidate will complete an extensive application that will provide family background and childcare work experience.

Once a interview has been done by us and we believe we have found ideal candidates for your family we schedule a interview. Your then receive a copy of the nanny application and interview/ reference summaries in advance of your scheduled interview.

When you decide to hire a given candidate, contingent on a successful background investigation, we require that each family and nanny sign a contract of services which will outline all aspects of their nanny’s pay, duties & responsibilities.

After the selection there is a two-week trial period and if for any reason there is not a good match then we will provide another candidate to you. As part of our commitment to you and your family, we take personal interest in each client, and provide on-going support.
